The doctor called at 11 am to let us know that Jake's numbers have changed and he could be getting an infection. They are giving him a blood transfusion which we had known would be coming soon. His siblings have both had them. His lung doesn't show a lot of air. And he is requiring more air than before. He'd been on basically room air the last several days. She put him on antibiotics. She says she is hopeful that it is just a stress response and not an infection.
We will go see him and Wesley at 2 for their touch times.
Please pray that these symptoms reverse, that the antibiotics work (assuming there is a need for them to work), and that his lung opens up quickly.
